Bra does uplift as expected. HOWEVER, the plastic connectors and adjustment slides are horrible (they cut into my skin and left scratches). I had to cut those out of every bra (I bought several at one time) and sewed the bra to my fit. Straps are wide enough to help keep from having shoulder craters (you know what I mean).
