JVCC DC-SCRIM-3 Double-Sided Scrim Tape: 1/2 in x 36 yds. (Clear)

JVCC DC-SCRIM-3 Double-Sided Scrim Tape is an aggressive clear polyester (PES/PVA) scrim tape coated on both sides (AKA double-coated) with a modified solvent-free water-based acrylic adhesive. The adhesive system of this double-sided tape has excellent tack combined with high adhesive strength. Bonds well to nearly all materials, even to difficult surfaces like foams, PE and PP films. JVCC DC-SCRIM-3 is APEO/APE free and is hand tearable. Excellent temperature, UV, aging, and water vapor resistance. Acrylic adhesive provides long term performance. Scrim reinforcement provides for improved lay down. Used for permanent bonding of various materials such as fabrics, wallboard, plastic, metal, and wood surfaces. Used for laminating foams and films (its thin characteristic makes it suitable for low-relief laminations). Also used to make frames self-adhesive. The tape comes on a gold 90 gr. siliconized paper release liner.

NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 12mm x 33m. This tape is typically cut to width from log rolls so most sizes ship on non-branded plain white cores. As with any adhesive tape product it is always the user's responsibility to determine that the product is suitable for their intended use; e.g. if you want to remove a product cleanly from a specific type of substrate please test on an inconspicuous area first.
