My vacuum cleaner only has one setting, which is unfortunate and so I purchased this little item and it does a great job on my thick carpeting. I found that you have to go a little bit beyond the dirt to get it to pick it up. Of course you have to clean it each time and sometimes the little push buttons are tricky for me without getting the dirt all over the edge of my trashcan But probably not difficultfor everyone else I like it and it works well. Don't forget to clean the beater bars. They really pull up that dog hair.

Great for touch-up carpet cleaning.
My carpet is dark blue and shows every piece of lint. I have to vacuum daily. Most days, just a touch-up is needed. It is so nice not to have to lug out my canister vacuum for a quick pick up. The sweeper picks up very easily without much effort. The only problem I've encountered is when you pull back. Sometimes, what you just picked up comes back out. The solution is to use long forward stokes and short ones when pulling back. Easy to empty, and the comb attachment comes in handy to clean the brush, especially when hair is involved. The comb also gets attached to the sweeper when not being used. The width is good for small areas. but not too small that it takes more time to complete the job. Great product. Definitely would recommend!
