J-B KwikWeld is a fast setting version of The Original J-B Weld two-part epoxy cold weld system that provides strong, lasting repairs to metal and multiple other surface types. After mixing, it forms a permanent bond and can be shaped, tapped, filed, sanded and drilled after curing. J-B KwikWeld has a 1:1 mixing ratio, sets in 6 minutes and is fully cured in 4-6 hours. J-B KwikWeld cures to a dark grey color, is rated at a tensile strength of 2424 PSI and will withstand temperatures up to 300F. Great for use on Household Repairs, Automotive, Plumbing, Marine, Crafts and more.

Works great...if....
I ran tests with the Kwik Weld before adopting as my defacto standard. Easy to mix. Sets up fast. Easy to apply. Creates one heckuva strong bond! That said, somebody slipped Zoro some old product. Mine had date codes for 2005. Being Zoro has only been around since 2011....somebody somewhere dumped some old product. The result is the hardener is a thick, thick, thick gray paste that takes both hands squeezing to get it out of the tube. Fortunately, ZORO has an incredible service policy and is replacing both boxes. BTW - it should be noted there is no date code on the outside of the box - only on the crimp of each tube. So there is no way for ZORO to know if a supplier has sent them old product.
