Works great!! One thing to mention is that if your tank water gets low while it is on it gets this weird white film over it. when I clean the tank I scrub it with a toothbrush and the majority comes off but some stays and doesn't look as nice as it did before. But again, it works great I just have a plant covering mine in the tank lol.

Using this in tanks larger than 4 gallons
I got this heater after reading how hot it gets in the standard size aquariums this heater is intended for. I use it in my 5 gallon and it works absolutely perfectly! Keeps my 5 gallon around 78-80 degrees. So, use this heater in slightly larger tanks since this heater is recommended for 4 gallons and below.
