Thin fit for wearing with jeans, yet has very good absorption. These are also less expensive than the ones I usually buy ($10 for the same quantity). They don't bunch up or bind up which makes them more comfortable to wear. I can't say for sure how they work during a bad flare but they work well during a moderate flare.
