Greatest little tool but packs a mean punch!

This item was not only affordable but very easy to used. I was looking at other more sophisticated tools to remove the inner tie rod but the reviews for this item persuade me to get it and I change my inner tie rod within minutes, all I did was undo clamp tool and clamp it over tie rod and removed by hand. You can used the 3/8 extension tool and ratchet if the tie rod is tight but in my case it wasn't. Thank you!

Worth every penny

A local repair shop quoted $160 labor to replace an inner tie rod end which subsequently provided sufficient motivation to make the repair. Purchased Performance Tool W1204P ball joint separator along with W83027 inner tie rod tool from separate online retailers. Both tools make the repair relatively easy albeit be sure to align the tie rod indentations with the u-bolt. Tighten/snug the 14mm u-bolt nuts to prevent the tool from spinning/slipping while removing the tie rod end. Put some locktite on the inner tie rod end threads for reassurance. Thoroughly satisfied with the quality of both tools.
