This product is a hair straightener. It does not dry your hair. I saw a commercial for this product, and I decided to investigate it online. I liked what I saw. Different people demonstrating, and its ease of use. I had been using a flat iron which wasn't too bad, but still more time than I wanted to stand in front of the mirror. So I not only ordered one for myself, I also ordered one for my daughter for Christmas. She used hers before I used mine, and she was so happy at how fast, and how straight her hair became. She loves it. I love mine. I would recommend this product.
