Replacing an older soap dispenser

I purchased this in the hope that it could replaced a similar, yet older Grohe dispenser that had become clogged. However, it doesn't quite fit as the best replacement. Disappointed Grohe parts are not interchangeable this way, I guess.

Does not pump well at all

While this is a "beautiful to look at" dispenser and matched our faucet perfectly, I find that it constantly clogs up and stops pumping soap. I have to take it out and rinse the tube so that the soap will come out of the hole that seems a bit to small. I've tried many types of dish soap - all clogs. Not at all happy with this product.

doesn't work property

We installed this soap dispenser to complement our Grohe kitchen faucet but the soap dispenser rarely works correctly even with multiple cleaning/refitting attempts.
