Great tire tread for recreational bike rides
This tire works great on pavement with a smooth roll and low noise. When I went over Ice patches I slowed down and went straight through without a problem. Then when I got to muddy trail filled with foot prints and puddles I kept pedaling right through like it was nothing. Did great on loose sand and dirt trails and kept up speed through dirty snow patches. Top speed was 24 mph on downhill section and the tire felt great. It really held on the turns and I was very comfortable with the amount of traction.

hooks up great! great tire at a great price
I use this tire on the front wheel of my 2001 Gary Fisher Mt. Tam hardtail. I run it at 30-35 psi. Singletrack, Downhill, Dual Slalom, Dirt Jump, these tires do it all. I have the VelociRaptor Rear-specific tire on my back wheel. The Velociraptors(Front and Rear combined) have more grip than the Kenda Nevegal Pro tires they replaced.

I bought the other tire to this set from Amazon because I had other things to buy to get free shipping. When I realized I needed this tire, I did some internet searching and found this to actually be a lower price shipped than anywhere else, for this tire. Its a highly rated tire that goes for as much as 2x at bike shops. This was a great price and shipped pretty fast too.
