Better than Yamaha's MG series--For Less $$

It was this or Yamaha's MG10XU mixer. Both were highly rated via online reviews but I liked the Soundcraft's more compact case as I gig a lot and it fits easier in my protective gig bag. I've used Soundcraft before and they've always equaled or exceeded my expectations. Yamaha's OK too but for the money I'd recommend this Notepad 12FX.

I had this for a while and I bought for the use of a USB interface. I had problems with connecting it to my laptop, after a update and restart I was able to connect and works really great so far. One thing that I can't figure out is the effects, for some reason they don't seem to work for me especially with a mic on the first inputs. Over all it's a great product and it does what I want it to do. I also didn't expect how small it is) but it's all good
