Same great fit, but will it last?

I've been wearing Haggar kahkis for many years. That's all I wear. Fabric quality fell off a couple years ago with rapid wear along creases and cuffs and back pocket where my wallet sits. Zipper failed. However, the fit remains great as usual. If they have corrected the quality problem then I'm good to go for many more pants. If not, these will be my last purchase.

Manufacturing quality

I can not button the waist band - on either of the pants I purchased. A professional seamstress (my wife) pointed out that button is too large for the button hole. It appears the button size (or thickness) was changed without letting the "button-hole-maker" know that they needed to enlarge their settings. We can change the waist band button to a smaller one, then the pants will be fine. ALSO: Thank you for setting up your website in such a way that I could type in the number from the inside tag of a fairly old pair of pants and find the current equivalent. It made it super easy to replace my old pants that I have enjoyed for many years.
