A very high quality refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family absolutely loves this fridge. Here is a list of things that I love about the fridge. Storage Space - This fridge has plenty of room to store enough food for a family of six with plenty of room left over. To give you an idea I purchased a 2 liter bottle of soda and put it into the fridge and there was still plenty of room to store food in front of the soda bottle. The door in door - Is great because it allows you to get things like condiments or milk without opening up the rest of the refrigerator. Also some of the shelves in this section are adjustable. High quality drawers - I have owned plenty of refrigerators in my life and one thing that I really find annoying with some lesser models is that the drawers often get stuck. With this fridge the drawers have bearings on them so they open and close very smoothly. Water and ice dispenser - The water and ice that comes from the dispenser tastes great and the water comes out crystal clear. As far as water quality I can't taste a difference between the water in my fridge versus the water that comes from my expensive gravity fed water filter. Craft Ice - My kids really love the craft ice option. WiFi options - Being able to connect to the fridge over the WiFi is also a plus. Through the app I can control the temperature of the refrigerator and freezer, look at diagnostic data, adjust fridge options and check on the energy usage of the refrigerator. Unfortunately this fridge has a couple of cons and I will list them below. On my refrigerator the craft ice doesn't come out as perfect spheres. There is no drip tray below the ice and water dispenser. So if water leaks or spills out from the water dispenser I have to have a towel ready to clean it up so water doesn't leak on the floor. Lastly the ice production on this freezer could be quicker. To give you an idea it seems like it takes at least a day to produce three craft ice cubes. The normal ice production is quite a bit faster but I can see issues if you have more than 6 people living in your house.

Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very great fridge super nice design and although not the widest, but it is very deep which makes it very spacious. There is a special door that opens a particular compartment which saves cooling power and is very convenient. Additionnally my children really like how a light turns onwhen one knocks on the window. It is a very practical, modern fridge that we all love!

Love it!

I was given this refrigerator and asked to review it. I've had it for about two weeks and absolutely love it. I was looking for a new fridge for about 2 months and was focused on LG from the start due to some of their features. It's only been 2 weeks, but here's what I like about this model so far: Appearance: It's a very sleek looking unit. Gray housing with Stainless Steel doors, so it fits with my other appliances and kitchen perfectly. Noise: It's super quiet. My last fridge was 9 years old but it wasn't this quiet on it's best day. Features: 1- With 30 cubic feet of space its huge. More than I need, but perfect for families. 2- French Doors and Door-in-Door were a major requirements for me. Having the panel where you can knock on the window and view the contents is convenient (and cool) but the door-in-door feature makes for easy access to beverages without opening the entire door. 3- Ice Makers. This unit has two. The standard ice cube maker is in the door of the fridge compartment and like most fridges these days, it could stand to be bigger. Its fine for me, but I could see a family of 5 running out of Ice on a frequent basis. The specialty ice maker in the freezer portion of the unit is for making round cubes. They were a HUGE hit at poker night and went really well with my 15 year old Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon. 4- Freezer. Love the 3 different levels for storage which provide easy access to all items in the freezer. No more digging through the shelves to see what's in the back. Negatives: So far, not too many. But this is a brand new unit so I'd be surprised if there had been any issues after two weeks. 1- Ice makers. The top unit should be bigger. The specialty ice maker in the freezer takes forever to make ice. The round "cubes" are big, but 12-18 hours to make 3 of them seems excessive. 2- The wifi feature seems to be an unnecessary component, at least for me. I'm sure others will put it to good use but I don't see the need for it. Overall, I'm really happy with it and have already recommended it to friends.
