What are the facts? And what is the truth? in 1975, armed FBI agents illegally entered the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Gunfire erupted - a Native American and two FBI agents fell dead. After the largest manhunt in FBI history, three men were apprehended - only one, Leonard Peltier, was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison. This is his story. From the very beginning, Peltier's case has been dogged with controversy. Were the charges trumped up? Was the evidence falsified? Were witnesses pressured to change their testimony? Many people, including some of today's greatest legal minds, believe that Peltier is an innocent man. Twelve years ago, Robert Redford visited Leonard Peltier in prison. Free an INNOCENT Man

I felt this movie was an excellent example of how money and power can corrupt a person of a higher position, chosen by his people, to hunt down a person of his descendants (because that person Leonard Peltier had better morals and wanted to keep the ways of his people alive).

THIS WAS A TRUE STORY BASICALLY FROM OUR VIEWPOINT, AND IF U ARE NOT AN AMERICAN INDIAN U WOULD NOT UNDERSTAND THOSE TIMES AND WHAT IT MEANT TO BE THERE. BTW PELTIER IS AN OLD MAN AND IS STILL IN PRISON. I LEAVE U WITH ONE THOUGHT, ALTHO WE WERE BORN IN USA , IT TOOK AN ACT OF CONGRESS TO MAKE US CITIZENS AND THAT WAS IN 1924. SEE THE MOVIE AND TRY AND SEE IT THRU OUR EYES.
