  • The vacuum regulator flow gauge indicates whether sufficient suction is reaching your Hayward cleaner. This gauge is not intended to regulate suction as a pool cleaner regulator would.
  • Installation Instructions: Attach your flow gauge to your Hayward pool vacuum hose replacement leader hose and secure the flow gauge to the first section of the hose.
  • Turn on the pump and check the flow gauge to verify that the suction is within the minimum and maximum lines. If it falls between these marks, your suction is adequate.
  • Exceeding Min and Max: If your black disc is not within the min and max range, the problem is likely due to your filtration system. Try cleaning your filter to reduce pressure.
