Imperial Tube Bender for 3/16" - 1/2" Capacity 370-FH

Hello! Thank you for your feedback on ZORO #: G1468336 | MFR #: 370-FH. Here at Zoro we want our customers to LOVE the products you buy from us. We have forwarded your feedback to our supplier partner, Remco. Their response is as follows, "The 370FH will bend 1/2" OD (outside diameter) annealed, soft copper tubing. The 370FH it is not designed to bend hard copper tubing or pipe without first annealing the tube. If not annealed the tubing may kink or deform during the bending process. Also, tubing is measured by exact OD and pipe is measured by ID (inside diameter) - 1/2" Pipe will not have a 1/2" OD and will not fit into a 1/2" tube bender. Copper pipe is nearly always measured by OD just as tubing is. However, some copper pipe used in water lines may be measured by ID. The main point is that the 370FH will bend and is designed to bend 1/2" OD annealed, soft copper tubing. Our 370FH It is a popular bender and we receive few complaints."
