I rarely complain, but The main issue with this product was the metal sheathing wrapped around the fire retardant material. It was quite rough and sharp on the underside. Where the metal was cut to fit around the corners, some tabs were flared up rather than under and I had to hammer several of them down to flatten. I then went around all the underside edge with some padding and duct tape to protect my tile floor from scratches, even gouges. It definitely would have damaged a wood floor. My prior floor protector had a different design and was well made, lasting over 15 years. Although I like to purchase from American companies, regrettably, I suggest passing on this one.
