My mother prefers Icy Hot balm over cream. She suffers from severe osteoarthritis and has tried nearly every brand available. Not only does this product outperform other brands, it is perhaps the safest OTC topical pain relief. There are OTC topical pain relief products that are dangerous for individuals suffering from other medical conditions, such as heart disease. Be sure to read the warning labels on all such products. Walmart's price for Icy Hot Balm is the lowest price I have found.
