I had this terrible pain in my shoulder area that caused me not able to use my right arm at all. I was walking around holding my arm close to me to be sure it didn't move that's how much the pain was. I put this on my shoulder (very minimal amount) and right away I felt better. This product is marvelous! It doesn't take the pain away completely but it definately deadens the pain for a period of time. It lasts about 8 hours but you can reapply it up to 3 times a day.
