Sturdy silicon strapping and gripping cleats. The cleats grip well, but not too aggressive, so they're not difficult to walk on.
good but hard to put on
A real pain to put on because the opening for the toe is way too small. Once you get it on though it works great. I am disabled with a bad back problem having had our surgeries so far so for me to be bent over that long to get one started on my shoe is bad. Then you have to do the other one.

These are terrible. Used 1 time and all the picks but 3 fell off. This is a terrible product. Waste of money. Wish I could get my money back as I purchased 2 pairs and gave 1 pair to my mom. Also do not use if you have animals with hoofs because as the picks fall off your boots, they could get in your horses hoof. I still have 3 to find to make sure they don't get in any of my horses hoofs. Very disappointed. Got these to use in icy conditions when I'm taking care of my animals and now I'm spending hours trying to find where the picks fell off so none of my horses get hurt because of them. If I could rate this zero stars I would. Hope none of the picks wind up in my tires either. Don't buy.
