The camera initially was a bit difficult to figure out and just when I was about to return it everything came together. The one thing that's most important is that you must be patient and the the devices do what you're pushing the buttons to do. Meaning when you're setting up your camera to your controlling device let the 2 communicate before you start pushing more buttons. Turning the camera off is as simple as switching it to record then stop then hold the power button for 4 seconds. And camera will acknowledge your command with a vibration. The WiFi set up is first to your pc tablet or mobile phone wifi provider then wifi must be established through ion wifipodz this may take a minute or two. To retrieve pics or vids captured from the camera once wifi connection established exit out of ion app then right back in and all the videos and pics will load.
