Steps to use the reverse cleaning function:
Keep the straightener turned off, but it needs to be connected to the power supply.
Step 1: First, you need to press and hold the wind speed gear.
Step 2: Press the power switch again for three seconds to turn on the automatic cleaning function. (The time lasts for 15 seconds.)
The cleaning function will automatically stop after the time is up.

I bought this to see if I like the idea enough to spring for the Dyson. Answer- why buy the Dyson if you have this. It blows the air straight down the air shaft, making it smooth and very straight. I use a bristle brush after each pass which makes it even smoother. If you're on the fence and you want smooth straight hair, buy this.
