Place the mulch in the desired location in a three-inch layer. Hyponex by Scotts Red Mulch creates a natural weed prevention barrier by blocking their growth and access to sunlight. When mulching is complete, your landscape will look and feel cool, as Hyponex by Scotts Red Mulch can moderate soil temperature and help conserve moisture. When placing mulch, set it several inches from tree trunks, house foundations, and other wood structures. Hyponex by Scotts never uses construction debris or pallet wood that may contain nails or harmful chemicals. Only natural recovered forest products are used. Hyponex by Scotts Mulch is also available in Brown and Black. A 2-cu. ft. bag will cover 8 sq. ft. at a depth of 3 inches.
