Works, and lights up for night use.

This handy little tire gauge fits your hand well and is angled just right for perfect fits on valve stems. I had my doubts, but when I tested it, I then used two different standard tire gauges and they were all right at 40 psi, so it works. The head is plastic, but I hope it holds up over time as it seals quickly with little air loss. Why not.

CHECKUPS MADE EASY

The HYPER TOUGH DIGITAL TIRE PRESSURE GAUGE is so easy to use! With the press of a button, choose your scale selection, and it can begin to measure in 4 different ways: 1. PSI or pounds per square inch. 2. BAR or the perpendicular measurement of applied pressure. 3. kPa or Kilopascal Pressure Unit. 4. Kg/cm2. This gauge can cover a range from 5-150 PSI. I concentrated on the standard pounds per square inch for my car tires for an instant and accurate read. The digital gauge has a blue light flashlight and is backlit to make it quick and easy to take and read any tire pressure. It is small and handy to keep in the glove compartment of my car and very convenient for checks on my tires before any long road trips. Tips for using: - Best to take "cold" readings. - Make sure your stem valve is free from dirt. - Press your gauge to the valve to seal for a tight fit. Adjust if you hear air escaping. - Find the tire pressure for your car on the inside driver's side door jamb or owner's manual. Remember - The correct pressure can help prolong the life of your tires.

Super Easy, Barely an Inconvience

If you've ever used one of those old pencil-shaped tire gauge where a pop-up stick shoots out the back that were invented before grandpa was born, then you know they are...ummm...ummm...let's say, less than ideal. It was a hopeful guess. Enter the digital age. Press the tire gauge to the stem and BLAM! you get a reading. Quick, easy, done. Worth the extra pennies for it.
