I was extremely impressed with the volume of water it could pump. It says 7 quarts/min and I believe it. Choice of using 6 AA or 2 D batteries does give it flexibility. The hose is on the thin side so not sure how long it will last. It is an inexpensive item but I think it's definitely a good bang for the buck.
