Amazingly Useful Harness with manufacturing flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This harness is an amazing addition to any brush cutter use however, the plastic components do not hold up. When I purchased the Husqvarna E TECH II 326 LDX (~2001) I also purchased the harness as it made sense to do so. That was the correct choice too have made as the harness puts the majority of the machines weight on the users torso allowing for comfortable use of the machine while increasing the users endurance. My machine and harness are not used commercially however I volunteer a good deal to help others. First Use- A small but severely overgrown lot was cleared with the 326 where it performed amazingly and it was put asside to be used on and off as needed. After awhile I went to use the machine with the harness only to find that the plastic chest strap lock had failed (snapped) during storage. The plastic lock had just cracked off while stored in a cardboard box. Moving forward to 2024 I went to use "the equipment" only to realize that the plastic on the back of the harness had cracked in two places. "Cracked" indicates that the plastic broke in half. I have Back Packing Bags with plastic parts that I've had for 40 years where the plastic has never failed so the Husqvarna Harness plastic components failing is really a poor example of injection molding with high stresses built into the product/harness components. I hope Husqvarna has fixed this issue as the harness is a magnificent adder to any brush cutter purchase.
