I purchased this as a gift for my girls for Christmas. The instructions are user-friendly and easy to read. They offer two different styles of houses to build. The assembly was fairly easy. However, there were several connecting pieces that were not included. We were able to make it work despite this. This product comes with a ton of accessories and fun little things to do. It also comes with two dolls. There was a bonus surprise of four lights to be installed within the dollhouse. My girls are extremely happy with this product. be prepared for two hours of building. there is two different styles to build. my daughter chose style 1. you do have to build the funiture. instructions does not tell you how to build fence or where the lights go. lights go in the roofs not floor pieces.
