poor fitting header

I have Vortec heads. Had to dent 3,5,7,4,6,and 8 tubes to clear spark plugs. Used a original Vortec head on the bench to locate dents for plugs. Had to dent #2 tube where it hit the spring tower. Will work with 168 tooth flywheel using Powermaster 9100 series starter. Have right side on haven't started on left yet. Hooker/Holley don't know a thing about these headers! Exhaust opening on header is 1.892" tall, NO sbc head exhaust port is that tall. Leaves very little sealing surface between header flange and head. Will report on left side later!

Finish was under par

Purchased a new set to replace my old fender well headers. Once I received them after close inspection the coating was poorly applied and there were spots had had surface rust already appearing. Thought they we be a little better for the money.
