Excellent Air Conditioner for the money.

Purchased this for my Father. Knowing Honeywell has a good reputation I chose this model over several others. The price was higher, but as the old say goes.. . "You get what you pay for." My father sure has not been disappointed. Cools quickly and runs well. It was easy to install and had a 4 year warranty.

This unit was exactly what I needed. It was easy to install and it works great. The 14,000 BTUs comfortably cools off a big room and it's a lot quieter than my previous 12,000 BTU portable air conditioner. Instead of hard keys, it has feather-touch controls on the top front, which is a nice feature. However, these controls are sensitive, so be careful about accidentally turning it on if you bump into the unit. Or, you can simply unplug it when not in use.

Best portable AC I have used to date

This AC cools like a real AC should. I've had other portable models (not 14,000 though) that did not do what this one does. I am also very glad it has manual operation & does not rely on the remote alone. I have had remotes that quit & no manual way to operate equipment. My only complaint is the color black which I hate & the fact that when the panel isn't lit up it is difficult to see the controls. But if you're looking for a portable AC, go for it!
