SOoo much Nicer than expected!!

After searching through what seemed like 1 million islands for my kitchen, I finally decided to get one of the more inexpensive ones, (what I had originally planned to do in the first place anyway), but I expected it to not be as nice, after looking at several larger ones with granite, drop leaf, stools, etc., in the thousand dollar range,...& that's the worst thing you can do when shopping, is to look at nicer products then go back and get something that is lesser than- you seem to never be happy with it once it arrives. But- for the first time in my life, I was actually overly impressed with this Item! It was super solid made, surprisingly heavy, and even though dimensions were given in the specifications of the item, it seem so much larger in person, too- I am so happy I did not go with one of the larger ones now! It looks beautiful in my kitchen, it has a nice aged feel to it, blends well with my oak and just everything else in the surrounding rooms too! It's just awesome- I cannot say enough about this one!!

Best buy in a very long time!

I had been looking for a kitchen island for months. I searched every possible site I could think of and visited every store I could get to trying to find just exactly what I wanted. A friend suggested I try looking on Walmart.com and I thought, if Walmart did indeed carry kitchen islands, they probably would be made of cheap materials. I found this one and for weeks kept going back and looking at it debating on whether to take the chance or not. At the time I finally decided to purchase it, we had carpenters working here and when my island arrived, one of the carpenters put it together for me. Despite some stating that it took a couple of hours, the carpenter we had put my island together w/in 45 minutes. He kept saying that he could not believe how well it was made and that he could not have built me one anywhere near the money I paid for it. I am so pleased with my beautiful island and it looks so nice in our kitchen. I have received so many compliments and everyone has the same reaction~they cannot believe it came from Walmart and not an expensive furniture store. Well worth the money by far!
