These Holley EFI Smart Coils are a bolt-in ignition upgrade for your late model Gen III engine using a Holley® HP or Dominator ECU. Here's the difference over a stock coil; they produce more spark energy while consuming less power without sacrificing voltage output. This means you get hotter spark at the plug to burn the maximum amount of fuel in each cylinder while using less power from your electrical system. In fact, they operate at 50,000 volts and produce 172 mj of spark energy, more than any other on the market. Perfect for high compression or forced induction applications. They also operate up to 18 volts for compatibility with both 12 and 16 volt systems found in many racing applications.

Holley EFI Smart Coils bolt on in place of stock coils, but you'll need the appropriate adapter harnesses. For combinations currently using Holley EFI or Terminator X, use Smart Coil Ignition Harnesses 558-312 & Coil Extension Harnesses 558-326 for a plug and play solution.;
