Disappointing

I purchased this intake hoping to improve the top end performance of my 355 Chevy small block. I had been running a popular air gap dual plane intake. I was willing to give up low & mid range torque to gain some top end HP. On the plus side, the Holley intake was significantly lighter than my old intake. However, the port alignment was poor on the right bank & required a lot of work to correct. The Holley produce a large drop in low & mid range torque but gave me absolutely no improvement in top end performance. I switched back to my dual plane.
