I bought this to make a famiily recipe which includes potatoes, green beans, the sausage and cabbage. Awesome stew, healthy and very low in fat and carbs. The meat is very good, not fatty or chewy. Excellent for my recipe. I will get more to use in other recipes. I want to try it with Sweet Baby Ray's sweet n spicy bbq sauce, Oh yeah!

I have always like the taste of smoked sausage and Hillshire Farms is a winner. I usually make it with cabbage, onions and potatoes for dinner, but I also like to fry it for breakfast sausage. Putting it on a hotdog bun with mustard is also a favorite for a quick snack. All in all, I usually keep Hillshire sausage in the freezer to have on hand for any of the above meals.
