if you have a pet that seems to be a picky eater, or a small dog with very tiny teeth, this food is easy for them to chew and apparently has a flavor that is tempting. my dog likes it dry and snacks on it between meals when she gets hungry for a treat.

I have tried several different brands of dry dog food and my dog didn't care for any of them. He would only eat the dry food as a last resort and it would sit in his bowl for days. He would eat his wet food only. Now with Science Diet he gobbles it up. His dry food bowl is empty immediately. He still loves his fresh pet but he loves Science Diet now too. I have A Pure bred Pug who happens to have a recessive gene. Due to the gene, my pug has fluffy fur not normal Pug fur. He grows fur everywhere, even on the pads of his paws. In addition, I live in a very hot climate so with the temp. over 100 and a furry pug you can imagine, his fluffiness has caused him to scratch.
