Hill's Science Diet Oral Care Chicken, Rice & Barley Dry Dog Food, 4lb Bag

After my dogs teeth were cleaned it was recommended that I switch to a dental care dog food. My vet provided me with a sample of HillsDiet after the procedures. My three dogs have other various heath concerns so I decided to add the dental care to their diet a a treat. The large chunks are perfect and the price is reasonable compared what I would pay for a boxes of treats. My dogs love them and I love that I am taking care of their teeth at the same time. Its hard to find dental treats of this quality and I feel better that HillsDiet was recommended by my vet for this reason.

My small minature poodle loves them & they really work on the extreme plaque build up of his teeth. Although they are large (varying slightly in size/weight), he certainly manages to crunch them with such gusto & positive results, once he starts. Maybe the appearance of the size, is more daunting for the dog, that their ability to eat/consume them. Found a bit of mince rubbed on outside made Oral Care them more appealling, then once he starts. Found that approx 8 a day seems best for him, served first for his afternoon/evening meal, then topped up with recommended amount (for weight of dog) of Small Paws afterwards. Highly recommended.
