Most comfortable shoes ever! Being a woman with size 13 feet, it's hard to find shoes, much less comfortable ones. I often go 'barefooted' and having shoes to wear that are healthy, non toe cramping and cushy on gravel and hard surfaces is awesome! I have purchased black, blue and white and the extra insert and am wearing them to work, church, shopping, events-everywhere!

I really love the Hike shoes and the fact that you can order an orthopaedic insole that gives more support and cushioning. This is an important first step if you have injuries or pain and know that barefoot movement is the best way to heal. This is not the case with other barefoot shoes. If your foot/feet are inflamed for whatever reason you need the extra cushioning to allow you to walk in barefoot shoes without aggravating already painful feet. Over time your feet will strengthen. They also seem to be very reasonably priced as well.

I am a retired educator and dancer who was born with flat feet; therefore, I've had arch problems: planter fasciitis and tendon ankle pain (tibialis posterior). At times, I've had to wear everything from Star Wars-looking boots to ankle braces. Now that I'm retired and still active at 85, your arch support inserts are all I need to keep my ankles comfortable. The fact that they are switchable and trimmable to fit the shape of my other shoes is also a plus.
