Using a specific shampoo once, dried my hair badly and had major breakage and frizz. This product leaves enough moisture that you can't tell - very little frizz. I've used another brand similar to this and even though it was a deep conditioner product, it dried out my hair something awful. No matter how often I use this, it only softens and lessens frizz.
