Melting Directions: Microwave: Place 1-1/3 cups (8-oz. pkg.) chips in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at medium (50%) 1 minute; stir. If necessary, microwave at medium an additional 5 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, just until chips are melted when stirred. Top of Stove: Place chips in small heavy saucepan over lowest possible heat. Stir constantly just until chips are melted.

Great glaze for small cake slices
I used these cream cheese chips to make a yummy glaze for my individual carrot cake slices. Then I melted white chocolate chips and cut out stars. I put them on each piece of cake with a dollop of the same cream cheese icing I used between the layers of the cake, then sprinkled a few edible silver stars on the top.
