Herrschners® Pre-Quilted Woodland Friends Baby Quilt Stamped Cross-Stitch

I just finished the embroidery for this quilt. It turned out great. It came quilted with markings for embroidery and a guide sheet with a stitch guide and suggested colors for embroidery thread. But, it did not say how many skeins to get of each color. I called customer service and was told they don't have that information. So I kept track and will share that information with you. Also, I believe there was one mistake on the guide for the backstitches. The Light Turquoise and the Very Dark Beige Brown marks should be reversed. Instead of the marks in the clouds I put my granddaughter's name in one, birth date and time in one, and weight and length in the other. That shouldn't make a difference in the amount of thread needed. I could not find all of the suggested colors, so I will also include what I used. All are DMC skeins and I do try to be conservative with my thread, leaving short ends to knot at the end.
