Herbin Fountain Pen Ink - 100ml Bottle - Eclat de Saphir

For years, my to-go blue ink has been one made by another well-known ink manufacturer, but have used other colors by J. Herbin. They consistently show great qualities and superlative performance: Beautiful colors (with memorable, transporting names) that behave spectacularly and are safe to use in even the most delicate of vintage pens, as befits one of the oldest, still-active ink manufacturers in the world. When I saw this extra-large flask of Herbin ink (100 ml) offered by Walmart at such a good price, I knew I had to order it. Eclat de Saphir amply fulfills what Herbin has made me expect of all its inks. And the color is very special: A sober blue with just a hint of violet and generous shading tendencies. And now I have a ton of it, to last me for quite some time.
