I learned decades ago from my chiropractor that when your ears get infected, putting a drop ( warmed up) of garlic oil into my ears and letting it soak in helps clear up the infection. Keeping my head on its side for a couple of minutes helps the garlic get closer to the infection, then put a cotton ball or piece of toilet paper in my ear to keep air out. It helps with the infection quickly, usually in a couple of days with one or two applications. the cotton ball helps you not smell like a garlic clove, too.

I use the ear oil mainly for for my daughter whenever she feels her ears are hurting or congested from a cold or allergies. works great, no issues but use a cotton ball after the drips to avoid staining anything.
