Product details

Loctite 0.85 oz. Marine Epoxy. Loctite Epoxy Marine is a two-part system consisting of an epoxy resin and a hardener. The convenient syringe dispenses equal amounts of each component every time. When mixed in equal volumes, the resin and hardener react to produce a tough, rigid, high strength bond in 120 minutes. It can be applied and cured underwater. Ideal for repairing pipes. It cures to a white finish and can be easily sanded or machined. It does not shrink and is resistant to water and most common solvents. Bonding metal, concrete, glass, fiberglass, ceramic, wood and certain rigid plastics. Ideal for PVC, copper, brass and galvanized pipes. Surfaces exposed to water immersion.

Good epoxy, slow set time

The epoxy will be great for some of my projects. The price was good and shipping was fast. I should have looked closer at the setting time before I ordered and it may have encouraged me to order another type. This one takes 150 minutes to set compared with the usual 5 to 15 minutes for the quick set. On the plus side, it gives you more time to get things placed just right before the epoxy has a flash set and can't be worked or smoothed anymore.
