Paolo is joined by fellow collaborators Mario Percudani (guitar), Paolo Botteschi (drums), and Edoardo Giovanelli (bass) as a cohesive unit - the first time on an Apollo ?soloquot; album. Where his first 3 records involved musicians from all over the world and were something of a logistical high-wire act to assemble, quot;Hello Worldquot; is organic and self-actualized. With quot;Hello Worldquot; Hammondbeat (USA) has joined forces with Tanzan Music Group (Italy). Both labels are home to Paolo and he is a force for unity in an ever shrinking world. Paolo began his career in the early 90s. The Hammond organ is the instrument by which he is most closely associated, thanks to his aggressive and distinguished style with ties to the masters of the past and a truly original, personal view of the future. Paolo is recognized internationally as one of the most important and influential players of this legendary instrument. Over the years the Hammond organ has been joined by several analog and digital synthesizers including Moog, ARP, Oberheim, Novation, Mam, Yamaha, Dave Smith Instruments, Kawai, Korg, Roland and many others. A real and deep love for Waldorf has resulted in Paolo becoming an official endorser of this prestigious German brand. In addition to exploring the world of synthesizers Paolo has developed an expert technique on the electric piano (Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Clavinet, Kawai and CP-80), the vocoder, and string machines (Mellotron, Solina and ARP Omni), constantly enlarging and expanding his personal musical horizon and developing a taste for fresh style and mosaic arrangement.
