They make trash carryout an easy chore, if you put the empty bag in as a liner to the basket, then as the garbage fills up, the bag is already filled, and just pull the draw strings up to close. The ties are easy to adjust. Bags are thick enough, that even pets will have a hard time getting it open, but it is best if the filled bags are put in outside plastic /metal bins for pickup. .
