- These Service Caster Series #35 Rubber on Cast Iron casters offer various wheel sizes and mounting heights: 4” Wheel: 5-5/8” mounting height; 5” wheel: 6-1/2” mounting height; 6” wheel: 7-1/2” mounting height; 8" wheel: 9-1/2" mounting height.
- Weight capacity ranges from 400 lbs on the 4” caster, 400 lbs on the 5”, 450 lbs on the 6” and 500 lbs. on the 8”.
- Top plate measures at 4-1/2" x 6-1/4" with a bolt hole pattern of 2-7/16" x 4-15/16" to 3-3/8" x 5-1/4" and can either be bolted or welded on.
- Brake options include a side lock brake (SLB) which applies a positive locking force against the wheel hub which prevents the wheel from moving freely, or a bolt-on swivel lock (BSL) that when inserted into one of 4 notches found on the swivel raceway converts a swivel caster to rigid for straight-line tracking at any 90 degree angle. Combining both brake types ensures complete immobility over both swivel and wheel on the caster.

(500 lbs./caster). When searching for a reliable and durable solution for medium and heavy duty projects, consider Service Caster’s Series 35 moldon rubber on cast iron wheel casters. The Service Caster Series #35 is ideal for material handling, carts, equipment, and shop projects. The moldon rubber tread performs especially well on hard surfaces such as concrete, tile, and wood, while the cast iron core wheel stands up to heavier loads with a stable and secure roll. Finely crafted with double ball bearing heat treated raceways, these versatile casters are ideal for a wide range of applications, such as dollies, platform trucks, warehouse carts and freight terminals. Or ensure a smooth and secure ride for food service carts, hotel housekeeping carts, and industrial and commercial equipment.
