Wow! I had originally purchased this tape to position some edging on a tricky piece before sewing... but it held so well, I skipped thee machine afterwards. I honestly didn't expect it to be such a strong bond! one thing I will advise.. don't use the machine and the tape, as I did on some faux-leather for a costume later. The adhesive gummed up the needle, and knotted the bobbin thread. (I was able to remove the residue with acetone - nail polish remover - and a cotton pad. BUT, the costume held up just fine without sewing over it! It truly works as a 'No-Sew alternative, and, once the back inking is removed to adhere the piece, it's virtually invisible! It's now a must-have in my sewing kit.

Love this stuff!!

I have used this on every fabric imaginable and it's great! So much easier than sewing, stands up to washings. You can hem a pair of pants in minutes. Best hack: if you have issues with your bra straps loosening this is for you. Simply adjust where you want it and put a piece of this between and they are set for good!!

Sewing Without a Machine

It worked very well for me. However, I watched some videos of how people did it, which I do most of the time before I use a new product.
