This is a nice, heavy, granite cutting board. I have sliced bread, cheese, salami, and vegetables on it and it has served that purpose well. The rubber pads and mass keep it from slipping quite well. My only complaint is the presence of a small chip in one corner. I did not find the piece, so it shipped that way, but it is also a minor cosmetic issue and doesn't interfere with function at all so it doesn't bother me much. At least now I dont have to worry about plastic in my food from the cutting board, so absolutely worth it.
