This product's active ingredient (zinc) is much less drying and harsh on my hair than the one prescribed by my dermatologist (which didn't work!) This cleared up my dandruff and itch in one week. BUT, instead of applying it via spray all over my head, I sprayed it on my fingers and then dabbed it on my scalp where needed. This allowed it to penetrate more deeply and not wet down my hair. I started applying it twice a day on dry hair, but now only once a day for maintenance. The price is very reasonable.

I don't know that it has any healing qualities in it, but there is a menthol fill to it that takes your mind off of the crazy itching that you get so I went through a bottle pretty fast so I am and I am gonna buy another bottle because it does stuff they're itching for a while and that's these days more than I can ask for

Works fast.

Contains caffeine that can stain white hair but can easily be shampooed out. Really wakes up the scalp and stops the itching instantly. Don't use too much because it does not penetrate the hair or scalp and rolls off as you move. This is the best product that I have found to not only relieve an itchy scalp but stops it fast.
