This product does not contain a sunscreen and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated exposure of unprotected skin while tanning may increase the risk of skin aging, skin cancer, and other harmful effects to the skin even if you do not burn. CAUTION: For External use only. AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES, LIPS AND MUCOUS MEMBRANES. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use if irritation or rash occurs. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Directions
Instructions
1. For a flawless and streak-free tan ensure you clean and exfoliate the areas you will be applying the tan.
2. Shake bottle well and press the foam applicator firmly onto a tanning mitt or hand.
3. Apply evenly onto the skin in a circular motion to desired body parts. If you would like a deeper tan, apply another coat, allowing the tan to dry between applications.
4. Wash hands after use.
5. Allow to dry before dressing.
6. For a longer lasting darker tan, leave foam on your skin for up to 6 hours. Shower and gently pat skin dry.

The foam goes on evenly, slight smell. I let it dry eux hours wnd showered. The smell went away, but the color stayed nicely. Can't tell its not a real tan.

Glad I tried this one first!
I've been researching self tanners, from high end department store brands to drug store brands, and couldn't decide. Came across this one and knew I loved Hawaiian Tropic sunscreens and their signature scent, so I decided to try it. My main issue with self tanners is the after smell. This one is very subtle, immediately added color, no streaks (didnt exfoliate beforehand), and nice gradual tan within the hour. My skin tone is light medium to begin with so this just made me look like I've been tanning for a few days after one use. Only negative is that it stained the palms of my hands even when I washed them immediately after applying. Other than that - Love it!
