4 out of 5 stars review

Excellent, except short on the size definition.

Totally worth it and I found it 8 dollars cheaper through Walmart, than Amazon or any quilting sites. Excellent quality and it does have a nice weight to it. I did measure it and it is NOT a true 12 inch Clapper. I wanted to know why, so I called company and I was told that they start with a 12 inch block of wood but after the shaping and sanding is done, then it ends up to be roughly 11 1/2 inches. My thought was, then start with a 12 1/2 inch block of wood so you end up with a TRUE 12 inch Clapper! That is the only reason I gave it a 4 star review and I don't like it when a company plays "word games." If you are wondering whether or not to go bigger or smaller when buying a Clapper, definitely go bigger. I like having the extra weight and the overhang of Clapper is nice on smaller objects. And yes, it does make your seams lay flatter!
